About Nikki Wheeler

Nikki Wheeler is an artist and designer based in central Illinois. A lifelong fiber artist, she began her career as a costume designer and instructor, creating and illustrating custom garments and accessories for performers. Her work has been featured in productions at institutions including Bradley University, Illinois Central College, and Eureka College.

She has taught art, design, and fiber arts to students of all ages through colleges, universities, and community programs. Her current work focuses on creative education, design, and expanding her artistic practice.

Nikki has recently begun exploring printmaking, using the medium to experiment with bold color, pop culture imagery, and more intuitive, expressive processes.
